"BikeInsure makes it easy for our members to protect their mountain bikes, including e-bikes, from theft, transit damage, and even accidents that may occur while riding. Knowing many of our members travel for destination riding, and regularly transport their bikes to trailheads in their local and regional communities, IMBA members will be stoked to have BikeInsure's Transit Protection included when they sign up."
"USA Triathlon has selected BikeInsure as the organization's Official Bicycle Insurance partner, bringing affordable, opt-in bicycle insurance to USA Triathlon members. Our partnership with BikeInsure aims to reduce the financial risk of owning a triathlon bike through bike insurance. Members who enroll with BikeInsure are only a small BikeInsure deductible away from getting back on the road in case of a bike accident or theft."
"This ain't your grandma's insurance. While others focus on your home's meltdown, we're here for your two-wheeled love. BikeInsure's got the lowdown on all bikes, especially those gritty gravel machines. Forget the fine print – they cover everything, from your custom accessories to that rad component upgrade you just had to have."
"The League of American Bicyclists Celebrates BikeInsure as Official Bike Insurance Partner. With BikeInsure, you can protect your bicycle or e-bike and enjoy the 'peace of mind' that comes with knowing that you're only a $100 deductible from getting back on the road if a bike crash happens."
Trek Speed Concept
I had an unfortunate accident during a group bike ride. As a result of the collision, my bike's fork, wheel, and rotor were damaged, and my pride was hurt.
I had a fantastic experience with BikeInsure. They promptly helped me repair my bicycle at the bike shop of my choice. Not only that, but I received an insurance check for $2,125 in just ten days, which exceeded my expectations. Their service is truly impressive, and my bike appears as good as new.
Specialized Tarmac
My wife had a bike accident, leaving her Trek Domane bicycle with a cracked carbon frame. We live in California, where several Insurance Carriers have stopped selling new home insurance policies. As a result, although our Farmers insurance may have covered the claim, we realized that doing so, as our agent agreed, could cancel our homeowner's insurance policy. Therefore, we paid out-of-pocket to replace my wife's bicycle and decided to get a separate bike insurance policy for my Specialized and her Trek.
Our lesson learned was our homeowner's insurance policy could not cover our bikes, and that realization cost us a lot of money. We confidently chose BikeInsure because it is the only bicycle insurance company endorsed by USA Cycling.
Pinarello Dogma
Had it not been for BikeInsure, I'd be screwed.
My BikeInsure'd bicycle was recently stolen when a thief violated my life and stole my bike, which had my prosthetic arm still attached to the handlebar while I was training for the Paralympics.
BikeInsure promptly paid me $10,000 just days after I filed my claim. The claims adjuster was kind and efficient. I was relieved and grateful for the quick and compassionate service I received from BikeInsure.
Specialized Levo Comp
I had a difficult time finding insurance that would cover my E-Bike. I thought my homeowners would cover any loss or theft, but to my surprise, they denied coverage in all capacities.
At the beginning of my search, I found other online bike-specific insurance too costly. Then, I came across BikeInsure and decided to give them a call. I spoke with the BikeInsure CEO for quite some time. He was very helpful in explaining to me in great detail the ins and outs of insurance, especially for bicycles. The process was simple, and I found the amount of coverage and the monthly cost to be of good value. I feel secure knowing I have a great policy to protect my much-loved E-bike!
Thanks, BikeInsure, for providing a great product!
Trek Emonda
A few months ago, my wife's TREK bicycle got destroyed in a cycling accident. We contacted Farmers to process the claim on our home insurance policy, but they informed us that our homeowner's insurance likely would be canceled if we proceeded with the claim. So, we decided instead to use TREK's Crash Replacement Discount Program, which gave us a 20% discount on a new TREK bike.
We ordered a new bike from the Project One department with a custom tie-dye paint scheme. Once we received it, we insured it with BikeInsure to protect ourselves from future financial burdens. Now, if any accident happens, we'll only have to pay a $100 deductible instead of the thousands it costs to replace a nice bike. We found the right bike insurance solution with BikeInsure through USA Cycling. Now, our bicycles are insured, and our homeowner's insurance will remain unaffected by our bikes.
Canyon Spectral
I had no idea "BIKE INSURANCE" existed until I saw BikeInsure listed as IMBA's official bike insurance at my local chapter, Sante Fe Fat Tire Society.
The timing was perfect as I have a 2024 Canyon Spectral e-mountain bike. When I got my ebike from Canyon, I wondered how to get insurance because homeowner's insurance was a no-go for an ebike!
I used the IMBA BikeInsure page for my BIKE INSURANCE! It's easy, and now I have a great ebike insurance price for great e-mountain bike coverage, thanks to IMBA.
It's time for my Canyon to hit the trails, pun intended!
Cervelo Aspero
The BikeInsure claims process was fantastic.
In July 2024, I was riding my 2021 Cervelo Aspero 4 in South Austin, Texas, when I overcooked a corner and crashed. I was simply on a training ride and crashed my bike, which fortunately had bike insurance with BikeInsure. The bicycle accident cracked the frame's top tube and damaged a wheel, bottom bracket, shift lever, and bar tape.
The total damage restoration cost, including new OEM parts, labor, and tax, was $3,449.79. However, I only had to pay a $100 out-of-pocket deductible.
It was a relief knowing that BikeInsure covered my Cervelo.
Canyon Ultimate
I was riding my 2018 Canyon Ultimate in California when I crashed after hitting a pothole.
I took my bike to Summit Bicycle in Palo Alto for an evaluation. Luckily, I have BikeInsure! The bike shop gave me a written estimate for my bike insurance claim to fix the required handlebar and Shimano derailleur issues. The total damages, including parts, labor, and tax, amounted to $654.31.
Thanks to USA Cycling for offering BikeInsure, the bike shop fixed my Canyon, and I only had to pay the $100 bike insurance deductible.
My USA Cycling membership has more than paid for itself, and my bike remains BikeInsure'd!
Trek Madone SLR6
Last September, I wanted to compare bike insurance with Markel and VeloSure for my Trek Madone. I went to the USA Cycling website and came across BikeInsure.
The USAC official bike insurance BikeInsure proved to be a better product at a better price for accident and theft coverage than the Markel Velosurance policy.
I am now a reviewer for BikeInsure because I had a bike accident at the Tour of Newport News in Virginia, damaging my top tube, frame, saddle, and GoPro Hero 11 Camera. After getting an estimate from my TREK Bike Shop, I filed a claim with BikeInsure and received a check for $6,708.
Specialized Turbo Vado
I became a victim of bike theft when my eBike got stolen!
It sounds horrible, which it is, yet it was not all bad news because of BikeInsure. In my time of stress, BikeInsure calmly advised me to file my claim with a police report. Amazingly, shortly after submitting my claim, the claim administrator from Great American Insurance contacted me.
BikeInsure has got to be the best bike insurance around. Thank you for choosing Great American to underwrite the BikeInsure policy. BikeInsure is a great bicycle insurance product and an amazing service to cycling customers. I am forever grateful and will recommend BikeInsure to every bike owner I know.
Moots Routt 45
I was searching for the best bike insurance in the United States and was surprised to find that there are very few bike insurance companies here. Coming from Switzerland, where everyone with a bike has bike insurance at a reasonable price, I was surprised by the difference.
I've never owned a nice bike like my MOOTS Routt 45, so I wanted to insure it.
Fortunately, I found BikeInsure, and their reasonably priced bike insurance now allows me to enjoy my MOOTS gravel bike with coverage against any crash, transport to/from a ride, and theft.
Gazelle Medeo
As I stood in disbelief at the hospital bike rack where my e-bike was stolen, I made a distress call to BikeInsure. To my relief, they answered immediately, ready to guide me through the quick steps to file my theft claim, which began with a police report.
Despite my panic, the process was surprisingly easy. I was blown away at how I felt cared for and valued throughout the claim.
The settlement process was also a breeze, thanks to the efficient service of the claim agent. They offered me the choice of receiving a check or having the bike shop directly paid, and I opted for the latter. I picked up my new Gazelle eBike from the bike shop, and my only cost was the small BikeInsure deductible.
Pivot Trail 429
I renewed my membership to the International Mountain Bicycling Association and just received my welcome packet with free socks in the mail. In the packet, I also noticed a card from the official mountain bike insurance of IMBA that says, "Got Membership | Got Bike | Get BikeInsure."
My friend has been telling me about bike insurance for over a year. I've always known you cannot use home insurance for small claims. So, I signed up for BikeInsure. It was easy, and now I have 'peace of mind' that both my Pivot bikes are covered with bike insurance.
Specialized Tarmac
I crashed my 2023 Specialized Tarmac SL8 while cycling with friends in Arizona. We hit a section of road scraped for construction work. Before I knew it, my wheels were swept out from beneath me, which destroyed my Roval Rapide CLX II carbon wheels, handlebars, shifters, saddle, and carbon saddle rails.
The only painless aspect of my crash was my claims experience with BikeInsure. The lady in claims guided me through making a claim, and I was paid $4,071.58, with only the bike accident deductible of $100 to pay.
I tell all my cycling friends that I have BikeInsure, I crashed, and the bike insurance works!
Santa Cruz Hightower
I've been researching bike insurance for a while as I recently bought a new Santa Cruz Hightower Mountain Bike. While I knew that my homeowner's insurance wouldn't be enough to cover it, I wanted to make sure I found the best bike insurance policy for my needs.
After comparing various companies, I was most impressed by BikeInsure, especially when I discovered that it was the Official Mountain Bike Insurance of IMBA, which I am a member of. Signing up for BikeInsure was straightforward, and I am confident in my decision to invest in their insurance policy.
Canyon Aeroad
I'm from the U.K., so when I bought my Aeroad bike online in the U.S., Canyon did not offer bike insurance to me. Therefore, USA Cycling was my go-to resource. I was impressed to find out that USA Cycling had partnered with BikeInsure, which provides insurance for the BIKE.
Canyon deeply needs a BikeInsure partnership like USA Cycling. In the U.S., cyclists think their home insurance covers their bike, but it is NOT! I'm happy I found BikeInsure because 'peace of mind' means everything when owning a nice bike. Canyon urgently needs to revamp its site to include BikeInsure in the purchase process. We are spending all this lovely money on a bicycle, so who wouldn't spend under a buck a day to insure it as soon as they receive it?
BikeInsure is a great product.
Allied Alfa All Road
A friend in Oklahoma who has bike insurance on their bike gave us a valuable tip about signing up for BikeInsure.
They highly recommended BikeInsure for our bikes, so we took the opportunity to fully insure our custom-built Allied Alfa and Allied Alfa All-Road bikes with them.
The sign-up process was easy, and for $16.99 per bike monthly, each Allied has only a $100 deductible if there is ever an accident when we commute to or ride the backroads.
Urban Arrow Family
My family lived for a season in the Netherlands, where e-cargo bikes are very common. When we moved back to New Jersey, we decided to buy an Urban Arrow Family E-Cargo Bike, which we absolutely love. We use it to take our kids to school whenever possible.
It was important for us to get insurance to protect our valuable ebike investment, and after looking at reviews, we chose BikeInsure as it was highly rated.
It was reassuring to receive a welcome call from BikeInsure, and now we have peace of mind knowing that our e-bike is covered.
Pinarello Dogma
I had a bike accident on my Pinarello road bike, which led to a homeowners insurance mess.
Little did I know that having my bikes on my home insurance policy could lead to a premium increase with a claim and, worse, cancellation with another claim.
I lived that home insurance experience as an owner of Pinarello and Specialized bicycles.
I want to give a big thanks to THE BIKE LINE in Indianapolis for introducing me to BikeInsure. It's a separate bike insurance policy, so any BikeInsure claims won't affect my homeowner's policy if I crash my bike again. BikeInsure provides a huge relief since I was at risk of losing my home insurance due to having bicycles covered under it.
Orbea Rise
Northshore Off-Road Biking Association (NORBA) is a Louisiana affiliate of IMBA. I'm a proud member and own a new Orbea Rise e-mountain bike. NORBA is the trail-building organization on the Northshore of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Before my Orbea arrived, I noticed bike insurance on the IMBA website. I only learned about e-bike insurance after discovering that BikeInsure is the IMBA's official bike insurance partner.
A self-explanatory brand name, "Bike Insure" piqued my interest. The BikeInsure website is easy to understand and sign up for, and thankfully, my electric bike is bike-insured!
Pinarello Dogma
Sadly, one of the eight cyclists in our Texas bike group had their bike stolen, and none of us had bike insurance!
It's crazy to see Velo Insurance almost $90 bucks a month.
We thought we were out of luck until our fortune changed when I walked into BIKE MART to buy a pair of shoes. I shared the bike theft story with the salesperson and he advised:
"BIKE MART recommends BikeInsure for Bike Insurance!"
He handed me a BikeInsure brochure to take home, and they were right! The bike insurance is great, and the policy price is reasonable. Now, our bike group can do what makes us happy, knowing that BikeInsure insures all our bikes!
A Texas-sized "THANK YOU" to BIKE MART!
Orbea Rise M-LTD
I signed up for BikeInsure over a year ago because it offered reasonably priced coverage for my dream bike, the Orbea Rise M-LTD Limited Edition Mountain eBike, which I chose with the help of Nadine, Orbea's national sales manager in Colorado.
Both Orbea and BikeInsure provided me with 5-star customer service.
I had BikeInsure for my bike until my credit card was hijacked. Due to a delay in receiving my credit card, I decided to cancel the bike insurance since I had not filed a claim in over a year.
On the day I canceled, I read about a visitor to my hometown of Santa Fe, New Mexico, who had two locked BMC eMTBs (mountain e-bikes) stolen from their car bike rack.
That story freaked me out enough to sign back up for BikeInsure again. I will gladly pay for BikeInsure, even if I never use it, to regain my peace of mind!
Trek Madone
When I got into cycling, I was surprised by the high cost of bicycles. Before discovering BikeInsure, I had a mishap during a leisurely Sunday ride where I failed to unclip from my TREK Madone and broke my Campagnolo Rear Derailleur. It cost me over $700 to replace it at my favorite bike shop.
Fortunately, I have been a loyal BikeInsure customer for quite some time now. In case of future mishaps, my Madone is BikeInsure'd. It's remarkable that I only pay $16.99 monthly, knowing if any future accidents occur to my bike, it's only a $100 deductible to get it back on the road as good as new.
Cannondale Supersix
I've been a Velosurance customer for my Canyon Bike, and when I wanted to get coverage for my new Cannondale Supersix, Velosurance quoted me over $700 per year. I thought that was ridiculous, so I searched Google for bike insurance on my phone and came across BikeInsure. I checked BikeInsure's FAQ to confirm it was right for me and then signed up! Even on my mobile phone, the sign-up process was super easy.
Soon after, I received a welcoming call from BikeInsure. I'm glad I found BikeInsure, which costs me $16.99/mo for complete coverage of my bike and all its accessories. My next step is adding my Canyon bike with BikeInsure coverage, just as I did for my Cannondale.
Catrike Dumont
I did not want to leave my CatTrike ebike out of my sight. Although I still may not, I feel better now that I have BikeInsure insurance coverage.
Our homeowner's insurance doesn't cover E-bikes, and my agent offered me insurance, but it was just for a motorized vehicle, and the price per month was ridiculous.
I asked the manager at Y-Not Cycling for advice on where to insure my electric bike. He said he was about to read an article on insurance for EBikes, and he'll send me the info later so I can check it out. My bike is now insured wherever I go, even when locked to my RV. Thanks to BikeInsure, winter trips to Gulf Shores, Alabama, will be more enjoyable with my Catrike.
Factor Ostro
I drive a twenty-year-old JEEP, so I can afford to write a $10,000 check for my bike!
I love my FACTOR OSTRO VAM, and I got bike insurance with BikeInsure because I noticed they are the official bike insurance of USA Cycling and USA Triathlon.
I needed to find bike insurance I could trust if anything ever happened to my cherished bike. I signed up when I purchased the bike from my coach, Ron Alvarez, RAC BikeFit, an authorized Factor Dealer. My priority was to get BikeInsure before any solo ride, a training ride with cycling partners, and my first large Veteran's group ride in Arizona.
The sign-up process for BikeInsure was super easy. Having my bike insured gives me 'peace of mind.'
Catrike Dumont
I'm in Wyoming and excited because I just purchased a full-suspension CATRIKE eTrike from Utah Trikes.
I did a lot of research on the Catrike, and I knew that it needed to be insured. I learned that my homeowner's insurance would NOT cover the eBike, so I was relieved when I came across a very helpful post about BikeInsure from another Catrike owner in a seniors trike chat forum I follow.
To make sure BikeInsure was the right solution for me, I called 888-BIKEINSURE, and they provided me with great insight into the coverage. Paying under $25 monthly to get complete 'peace of mind' coverage for my eTrike gives me such joy. Signing up is incredibly easy – even a senior can do it!
Fezzari Signal Peak
It's the second Fezzari, now ARI, I've had.
But now that I have renewed my IMBA membership and learned that 'BIKE INSURANCE' is a thing, I realize I have owned my mountain bike for six months without coverage!
It would be nice if Fezzari added the Official Mountain Bike Insurance of IMBA to their website. A quick BikeInsure sign-up when I got my Fezzari Signal Peak would have given me the desired peace of mind insurance that I now have due to my IMBA perk!
Velotechnik Scorpion
I have renters insurance for my home, auto insurance for my car, and bike insurance for my eTrike.
The $25 per month "peace of mind" coverage for the Velotechnik Recumbent trike is totally worth it.
I love going on bikecations with my ebike, so I'm thrilled to have ebike insurance with BikeInsure, especially since Geico and Allstate refused coverage.
I will recommend BikeInsure to all my cycling friends at the two bike clubs I enjoy in Chicago and Detroit.
Fezzari Wire Peak
I went through my Allstate Homeowners Insurance Policy for bike coverage in California with my insurance agent. I discovered that it does not protect the theft of my bicycle if it gets stolen away from my residence.
We looked further into the Allstate coverage of an electric bike because I own a Mountain eBike, and we found the Allstate policy excludes eBikes, "Property we do not cover," is "Motorized land vehicles, including, but not limited to, any land vehicle powered or assisted by a motor or engine."
BikeInsure is the ideal eBike insurance solution.
Pedego Moto
BikeInsure is an anxiety release!
I have a Pedego eBike that I love, and it attracts a lot of attention when riding it. As much as I love riding my Moto is as much as I worry that it will get stolen. Once, I even saw a thief eyeing my bike when it was locked in Washington, DC.
I chose BikeInsure on the recommendation of Pedego!
It was an excellent Pedego shop experience, and their suggestion of insuring my ebike was spot-on too! BikeInsure welcomed me once I signed up, and as I shared, e-bike insurance protection is a value proposition for me. I even joked that I could now get rid of the anxiety meds and psychologist bills because, for just 25 bucks a month, my Pedego has BikeInsure.
Ventum NS1
During an early Sunday morning flight to Phoenix, I decided to purchase BikeInsure for my Ventum NS1 using my mobile phone. My friend/teammate on District Velocity Racing (DVR) recommended BikeInsure and even sent me a newsletter from Belgian Waffle Ride. I took their advice and signed up for BikeInsure just before losing my Wi-Fi connection on the plane.
Upon landing in Arizona, I received a warm welcome call from the BikeInsure CEO, which was a pleasant surprise. As it turns out, we both know the CEO of Ventum, which is pretty cool! I appreciate the peace of mind that BikeInsure gives me, especially since I've had a cracked bike frame before.
Lectric XP
I have been a BikeInsure customer for over a year now. Initially, I signed up with BikeInsure to cover my Specialized Roubaix bicycle.
I recently purchased a Lectric XP electric bike and realized it was time to set up my eBike on a BikeInsure policy. Interestingly, since BikeInsure covers the bike and all attached bike accessories, my $1,000 eBike AND my $240 ORTLIEB Vario pannier bike bag are fully insured!
Thanks to BikeInsure, I now have my two bikes insured and one peace of mind!
Specialized Tarmac SL8
Thanks to USA Cycling, I learned about the best USA Cycling membership benefit of BikeInsure for bike insurance.
Bike insurance is a product that I never knew I needed until USA Cycling introduced me to it.
I would have been devastated if anything had happened to my Specialized S-Works Tarmac without having BikeInsure coverage. I recommend signing up for BikeInsure if you own a bike. It's simple - the crash deductible is only $100, and I chose theft protection. If my bike gets stolen, it's $250.
BikeInsure is the official USA Cycling bike insurance because there is no other insurance option in the USA that is better for bike insurance!
Trek Madone SLR9
My friends at The Sweet Spot Bike Leasing recommended BikeInsure.
Living in New York, I had contacted my State Farm homeowners' insurance for a quote on insuring my Trek Madone. They quoted me an excessive amount of $1,100. BikeInsure is much less expensive to insure my Trek. Even better than the cost savings, since BikeInsure is a SEPARATE and PRIMARY bike insurance policy, any bike claim through BikeInsure would not affect my State Farm homeowner's insurance.
Had I gone ahead with State Farm's rider for +$1,100 on my homeowner's policy, my BIKE could have put my HOME insurance at RISK of CANCELLATION.
BikeInsure is the right choice for bike insurance!
Rad Power RadCity
BikeInsure is well worth the few clicks it takes to get started. The entire process was very simple, from finding BikeInsure on a Bike Shop website to the easy three-screen sign-up.
I was pleasantly surprised when the CEO of BikeInsure called me right away to welcome me and answer my questions. Their knowledgeable assistance was greatly appreciated, especially since our eBikes were expensive.
Thanks to BikeInsure, our 'peace of mind' against accidents and theft lets us adventure on our Rad Power Bikes RadCity 5 Plus Electric Commuter Bikes without worry.
Orbea Rise
I've been looking at bike insurance companies, including my homeowners. It didn't take much research to go with BikeInsure. They have great coverage backed by Great American Insurance. They partner with USA Cycling.
I was surprised they cover all your accessories, between bars, saddles, and a Garmin that adds up quickly. I hope my Orbea Rise H10 does not get stolen or wrecked, but if it does, I know my $5,000 eBike investment has BikeInsure Coverage for $25/month. Happy Trails.
Gocycle G4i
I initially chose Sunday's Insurance to insure my GoCycle G4i eBike. However, upon reading their issued policy and understanding the requirements for a specific lock listed on their website in case of theft, I decided to look for a bike insurance policy with more straightforward terms.
Luckily, I came across BikeInsure through Google. Their transparent policy didn't have all the extra details that bothered me about the other provider. My husband and I were looking for a reliable insurance provider for our electric bike, and we are thrilled with BikeInsure's service.
Scott Addict
I wasn't sure if bike insurance existed, but after getting a 2024 SCOTT Addict RC Pro, I needed a solution to avoid any financial burden from bike theft or accidents.
I called USA Cycling because I signed up for the RACE+ membership, which has the benefit of Spot bodily injury insurance. However, my #1 priority was insurance for my bike. USAC told me that BikeInsure is the official bike insurance for USA Cycling, so I signed up per the recommendation.
During the welcome call with BikeInsure, I suggested that SCOTT could help bridge the gap by informing their customers about the availability and affordability of bike insurance through BikeInsure.
Canyon Endurace
I unboxed my Canyon Endurace, attached the pedals, and realized I still needed to insure it. I live in California and know that if anything happens to my bike, I won't be able to recover the loss with homeowner's insurance.
Since bike insurance was not an option at Canyon.com, I checked usacycling.com and found they had partnered with BikeInsure, which now provides excellent coverage for my road bike.
Canyon should also have bike insurance on its website, like USAC, to complete the bike purchasing process. It's already 2024, and it seems unlikely that any cyclist would purchase a bike without getting bicycle insurance.
Blaze Gravel
I have been a happy customer of BikeInsure since 2022.
I have renewed my custom Blaze Gravel bike policy for casual riding and a Quintana ROO that I race competitively with.
I first met the CEO of BikeInsure in Washington, DC, during a Safe Streets advocacy ride on Capitol Hill.
As he is also an avid cyclist, we discussed bikes and the BikeInsure product, which eventually led to a friendship and my signing up for insurance for my beloved bikes!
Aventon Aventure 2
We regularly ride with a group in our hometown of Florida that gathers every Saturday. We all ride with our glow lights lit up. We also ride every Sunday on our local bike trails.
Recently, we bought two Aventon Aventure.2 e-bikes from eCycle Adventures, and the store suggested BikeInsure to protect our purchase.
Now, we have auto insurance for our cars, renter's insurance for our home, and, equally important, bike insurance for our e-bikes! Next Saturday, our cycling group will also learn about BikeInsure!
Allied Echo
I was discussing insurance for my Allied Cycle Works Echo with my Farmers homeowner's insurance agent. After talking about adding my bike as a scheduled rider on the homeowner's policy, we decided it would be best to get a separate bike insurance policy, similar to how I have a separate jewelry insurance policy for my watch collection. This would ensure that if I ever make a claim on a separate insurance policy, it won't affect my home insurance.
I researched BikeInsure and had my insurance agent review it. He advised, "Sign up for BikeInsure as soon as possible."
BikeInsure even covers my Falconer Aero Mips Bike Helmet.
Pivot Switchblade
My personal connection to PIVOT CYCLES runs deep, having worked as their staff photographer.
I've witnessed Pivot's unwavering dedication to product quality control, the superb craftsmanship of each bicycle they sell, and their commitment to customer satisfaction at Pivot. I'm a proud owner of two Pivot mountain bikes, the Switchblade and Mach4, and I absolutely love them both!
When I relocated from Pivot's Arizona headquarters to Tennessee, I joined IMBA's affiliate, SORBA (Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association), and discovered the importance of bike insurance.
The 'peace of mind' coverage that BikeInsure offers for my Pivot bikes is an IMBA member perk I couldn't pass up.
Reid eMetro
When my husband and I purchased two foldable Reid E-Metro eBikes at Crazy Lenny's ebike shop in Madison, Wisconsin, I had a hunch that our homeowner's insurance wouldn't cover them. This led me to research bike insurance, a decision that proved to be the right one.
I found BikeInsure, and both our ebikes are fully covered. It was such a nice touch to receive a welcome call from BikeInsure that reassured us of our decision. Now that I've figured out this ebike insurance, I will share BikeInsure with our cycling friends.
Colnago V4RS
If you're looking for top-notch bike insurance and excellent customer service, I highly recommend BikeInsure.
I've been a Velosurance customer for a few years but recently discovered BikeInsure. After emailing them some questions, I received prompt service over the phone, which convinced me to switch. When my other Velosurance policy expires, I will add two more bikes with BikeInsure.
Unlike Velosurance, which has a time-consuming enrollment process and high premiums, signing up with BikeInsure was a breeze. In just minutes, I got BikeInsure for my Colnago for a very reasonable price, providing coverage for crashes, transit, and theft.
Trek Madone P1 Valhalla
I have several bikes and recently became a member of IMBA.
When I received my new IMBA membership welcome package, which included some rockin' socks, I noticed a thick glossy card that said, "Got Membership, Got Bike, Get BikeInsure." I considered IMBA's trusted recommendation and signed up for two bikes, a Specialized S-Works Aethos and a Trek Madone Ultimate P1.
My homeowner's insurance would only consider my bikes as a rider to my policy but for astronomical rates. Fortunately, with BikeInsure, I have a separate insurance policy covering my bikes and mitigating my financial risk exposure in case anything happens to them. BikeInsure also confirmed that any claim with BikeInsure will not impact any other insurance policy, such as my homeowner's insurance.
Fezzari La Sal
Thankfully, I learned about BikeInsure from my IMBA benefits page because I had a State Farm Personal Articles Policy for my Fezzari (Now ARI) Mountain bike, but the State Farm rates kept increasing.
Unlike my previous Personal Articles Policy, BikeInsure offers comprehensive coverage for accidents, transit, and theft, giving me peace of mind with a bike-specific policy. I'm so happy about having BikeInsure that I have also told my co-workers.
I'm stoked about my Fezzari, and now I'm stoked to have BikeInsure coverage for my Fezzari.
Tern GSD
I learned about BikeInsure through the League of American Bicyclists and a California advocacy group.
Our renter's insurance didn't cover our e-bike, so we had bike insurance through Markel. We switched to BikeInsure for better bike insurance value for our TERN eCargo bike. We love our TERN GSD, so bike insurance is our top priority.
It's one thing for a respected trade organization to recommend a product, but it's refreshingly cool when the BikeInsure CEO personally calls to welcome you when you sign up, especially on a Saturday. I'm also planning to recommend BikeInsure to my parents for their ebike.
Chapter2 TOA
When I purchased my CHAPTER2 TOA from Wrench Science, a bike shop dealer in California, I was delighted to discover the value that came with the boutique bike brand. After my purchase, I received a welcome email from Mike Pryde, the founder of CHAPTER2, welcoming me and including a link to sign up for their newsletter.
At the bottom of the email, I noticed a BIKE INSURANCE ad that said, "BikeInsure it, then Ride it!" Intrigued, I clicked the link, and BikeInsure introduced me to essential aspects of bike ownership, like separate bike insurance, which I had never considered.
The partnership between BikeInsure and CHAPTER2 is invaluable, as I now understand that bike insurance is an absolute must-have for all bike owners!
Tern GSD S10
My Velosurance policy expired, but I received a newsletter from the League of American Bicyclists, which mentioned BikeInsure as their official bike insurance partner.
While riding my Tern Cargo eBike to Costco, I realized that I needed bike insurance, so I stopped and signed up for BikeInsure. It was easy and convenient. Onward to Costco.
Chapter2 TOA
BikeInsure is a no-brainer!
I'm originally from New Zealand and now live in California. I purchased a dream bike, CHAPTER2 TOA, which is a New Zealand bike brand. I'm thrilled to have the bike custom-built from a shop here in California.
It gives me 'peace of mind' knowing that I signed up for bike insurance before I picked up my bike!
Every item on my custom CHAPTER2 bike build is fully bike insured.
Specialized Tarmac
Meeting BikeInsure at the University of Maryland Cycling Route 1 Rampage was great.
Many of my teammates from the District Taco team had already insured their bikes with BikeInsure. When I was suddenly faced with the idea of insuring my Specialized road bike just an hour before a race, I wondered how long it would take to get coverage. However, with my mobile phone, I secured BikeInsure coverage for my Tarmac SL7 in just a few minutes.
I had been considering bike insurance for a while, but now with BikeInsure I no longer have to worry about the cost of my bike!
Chapter2 TOA
I recently became a member of the Cadence Race Team and got my Chapter2 TOA insured with BikeInsure. A couple of guys from the team suggested BikeInsure, and it seemed like a smart move.
After signing up with BikeInsure, they called me to ensure my custom-built bike was correctly defined for my insurance policy. Now I'm all set to race!
Factor Vista
I came across BikeInsure via USA Cycling and switched my bicycle insurance to them. Even though I had been using my Liberty Mutual homeowners insurance, paying additionally for my bikes listed as Scheduled Personal Property before, I found that BikeInsure offered more comprehensive coverage, a lower deductible, and a more affordable rate.
I received a call to welcome me from BikeInsure, and they were so helpful! Hearing that getting a separate bike insurance policy was the best way to insure my bicycle made a lot of sense. The brilliant part is, if I ever need to file a claim on my Factor Vista through BikeInsure, it won't affect my home insurance policy at all!
Trek Madone
I called my favorite bike shop owner at Bike Doctor because I have been struggling to get my homeowner's insurance to write me a scheduled rider for my TREK Madone Project One. Steve, the shop owner, said, "I've got one better than home insurance, check out BikeInsure!"
I was shocked that bike insurance was a product. Now that my TREK Madone is signed up for BikeInsure and I have been welcomed on a call from the BikeInsure CEO, who is a great subject matter teacher, I am convinced that you would have to be out of your mind if you own a bike and don't sign up and pay the reasonable monthly for their bike insurance.
It's crazy to spend the money we spend on our bikes and not even know that we are literally riding unaware that bike insurance is the only way to insure a bike properly!
Factor Ostro
I'm a USA Cycling member and value having BikeInsure. I participate in road and gravel races and Gran Fondos nationwide. My Cervelo R5, Cervelo Aspero, and Factor Ostro VAM are all on a BikeInsure policy.
I frequently travel with my bike and take extra precautions to pack it securely, but I still appreciate the inclusive transit coverage provided by BikeInsure.
I highly recommend BikeInsure for insuring my bicycles because it helps me focus on training and racing without worrying about their expensive risk exposure.
Look 795 Blade
I own a one-of-a-kind LOOK 795 Blade RS and wanted to insure it. I searched online and found BikeInsure, Hawaii's only bike insurance provider.
Even though it was a Sunday, I called BikeInsure with some questions about their coverage. To my surprise, they answered the phone on the first ring and were very patient in addressing all my questions.
When you have a cool bike, it's awesome to speak to someone who can relate, especially regarding insurance for the bicycle I value. I was impressed with the BikeInsure call and signed up with them. I am now recommending BikeInsure to all my cycling buddies in Hawaii.
Specialized Venge
I am the owner of an insurance agency that specializes in providing coverage for homes and automobiles. As someone who works in this industry, I understand the importance of having a separate insurance policy for a bicycle to ensure it is protected without impacting my home insurance policy with a claim.
Our agency can broker Markel Bicycle Insurance, but personally, I have chosen to use BikeInsure for my Specialized and Wilier bike insurance coverage.
The BikeInsure coverage is excellent, the premium is reasonable, and the enrollment process is simple.
Look 785 Huez
I have flown my bike across the country for vacations and events for many years. As the price of bikes has increased the amount of loss coverage from airlines and home owners policies has decreased or disappeared. I have pushed my luck for several years now but an upcoming vacation to Hawaii finally prompted me to search for affordable bike insurance with great coverage. Searching the internet I found several which I researched. The BikeInsure website provided me with all the necessary information to understand the coverage and pricing. While reading through the FAQ, I came across the section mentioning that BikeInsure is the official bike insurance provider of the League of American Bicyclists. The endorsement of LAB cinched the deal. Since I am a member of the League, I clicked on their sign-up page and purchased a policy. This year when I travel to Hawaii I will travel more relaxed knowing my bike is insured against damage and theft.
Quintana Roo X-PR
I drove from my home in Tennessee to pick up my bike in Chattanooga yesterday.
I didn't waste any time before finding and signing up for BikeInsure. All it took was seeing that BikeInsure is the official bike insurance partner of USA Triathlon, and I knew I was in good hands.
It's wild because if I had this bike for six months and didn't have bike insurance, and it got stolen, heck if I'd drop another $6,500 on another one.
Next month, I'm going to Kona, and I'm glad that my Quintana Roo will be racing with BikeInsure coverage. I will share my BikeInsure discovery with all my triathlon friends so they can sign up to insure their bikes just like I did.
Lauf Uthald
I reviewed the Markel bike insurance "lock designed to physically and securely fasten a bicycle to a bicycle stand or an immovable object" theft language provided by Velosurance and felt uncomfortable with it.
After searching Google for the 'best bike insurance,' I found an impressive article from BikeInsure, which I noticed was affiliated with Great American Insurance and USA Cycling.
As the owner of an insurance agency in the same community best known for President Jimmy Carter, I have extensive experience selling Great American Insurance products for many years.
After carefully reviewing the BikeInsure policy, I signed up for coverage on my Lauf. Thanks for the welcome call, BikeInsure. It was nice to talk about the importance of bicycle insurance. I will proudly recommend BikeInsure to my cycling club.
Quintana Roo V-PRi
I received my Quintana Roo V-PRi triathlon bike a few weeks ago, and before I rode it, I signed up for BikeInsure.
I googled "USA Triathlon Bike Insurance" and the top link was a USA Triathlon x BikeInsure Press Release on the usatriathlon.org website. After reading the press release, I realized that BikeInsure is the official triathlon bike insurance for USA Triathlon, so I took advantage of my membership perk!
The sign-up on the USAT BikeInsure page was very, very, very simple. Thanks to the USAT partnership, I have peace of mind knowing that my QR has excellent bike insurance.
Bianchi Oltre XR4
Insurance for a bike! When you search for the word bike in homeowners insurance policies, you won't find it.
I own a Bianchi bike and wanted to insure it for crash and theft, so I turned to BikeInsure. My favorite bike shop, Cadence Cyclery, recommended BikeInsure, so I checked out their website. Even after researching it thoroughly, I still had a few specific questions about the coverage of my bike. But BikeInsure proved to be an expert in bike insurance by providing clear answers to how their bike insurance policy addressed each of my questions. I signed up with BikeInsure and recommend that anyone with a bike do the same!
Specialized Tarmac
My wife came across BikeInsure after I purchased a new Specialized Road Bike. Our home insurance agent advised us to obtain a separate bike insurance policy to protect our bike in case of any damage or theft. Our home insurance agent warned us that filing a claim on our home policy would skyrocket our premium, and multiple claims would put our homeowner's insurance in jeopardy of cancellation.
Therefore, we decided to insure my Tarmac SL8, Roval Rapide Wheelset, and other bicycle accessories with BikeInsure. Knowing that BikeInsure is the official insurance partner of USA Cycling reassured us of our decision.
Bianchi Oltre
Several years ago, I had a Specialized bike that cracked during a bike crash. My wife passionately hated cycling because of the associated bike costs. After my bike accident, I took on a second job to pay for a replacement bike. My wife felt neglected because I was always working, and she had an affair while I was at my second job.
Years after my divorce, I drove two hours to The Bike Line in Indiana from my home in Kentucky to buy a Bianchi Oltre. The shop owner, Jimmy, sold me the bike and introduced me to BikeInsure. As I enrolled my Bianchi for BikeInsure, I wondered if bike insurance would have averted my divorce years ago. The future looks bright because I have 'peace of mind' bike insurance for my Bianchi. I'm excited to share the amazing BikeInsure product with my group ride friends!
Transition Sentinel
I am an IMBA member and have used the Subaru Member Perk. Therefore, I often look in the IMBA portal to see what else is offered and noticed BikeInsure. I kept that in mind because my Transition Sentinel was insured by Markel last year for almost $700. When the policy expired, I signed up for BikeInsure.
Aside from BikeInsure being IMBA's official bike insurance and a lot less expensive, BikeInsure's theft policy language is much better than Markel's. Markel bike insurance's locked-to-immovable object requirement led to a friend's theft claim being denied for securing their bike to a car bike rack. That is ok with BikeInsure, so I signed up on my phone. It was super easy, and now I have better bike insurance with BikeInsure.
Bianchi Sprint
Our group rides start this week, and I was worried about taking my bike out with everybody just getting their road skills back after a winter indoors on Zwift. Having researched bike insurance for the last two years, I finally decided to sign up for coverage for my Bianchi Sprint and KHS Flite 900 bikes.
I went with BikeInsure and was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from the company's CEO, who created the BikeInsure product, to welcome me. I had read about his bicycle accident and the company's origin, and I'm grateful for the BikeInsure product. I will definitely recommend it to my cycling group.
YT 1X Decoy
Last November, I decided to insure my Transition Repeater mountain bike with BikeInsure. When I recently purchased a new YT mountain ebike, I knew I also needed to insure it.
During my lunch break, I called BikeInsure, and they quickly signed up for my new bike. The enrollment for my electric bike was even faster than ordering food at a drive-thru. Now, both of my mountain bikes are fully insured!
Canyon Endurace CF
My wife and I both own Canyon bikes! I was introduced to BikeInsure by a friend who has their bike insurance for his bike. BikeInsure was recommended to him by Cadence Cyclery.
I was unaware I could obtain bike insurance for our Canyon Bikes at a reasonable price until I came across BikeInsure.
It is basically the same premium I pay to protect my Apple Watch! After a quick and easy enrollment online, I received a welcome call from BikeInsure. During the call, I learned that our bikes are insured without affecting our homeowner's insurance. Any claims I make through BikeInsure's policy for our Canyon Endurance CF SLX bikes would not impact any other insurance policy. I hope other cyclists learn about this and sign up with BikeInsure to protect their bikes.
Cannondale SystemSix
I was paranoid about not having insurance for my bike during an upcoming trip. I searched for bike insurance and compared Markel and Sundays, but eventually, I chose BikeInsure. The BikeInsure website is well-designed and easy to navigate. BikeInsure had everything I needed for my Cannondale.
There was a system hiccup during the signup process when my initial payment attempt timed out. However, I tried again, and the payment went through successfully. After the signup, BikeInsure informed me they had noticed a technical issue during my first payment attempt. However, they assured me the order was accurate, and my policy was on the way.
I left the cold of Chicago behind and headed to California for some cycling miles. Good news! The bike arrived in great shape. Thank you, BikeInsure, for the customer service and bike insurance coverage.
Specialized Diverge
I stopped at The Bike Line in Indianapolis to buy a pair of socks. Funny, they were on sale! It was my first time visiting that shop, as I had purchased my 2022 Specialized Diverge from another bike shop. The Bike Line was such a nice place, and the shop personnel was so helpful.
At checkout, they provided me with a bike insurance brochure and recommended BikeInsure. I am aware of bike insurance, but who wants to research it?
As I walked out of the store, I felt confident in The Bike Line's recommendation of BikeInsure. Thus, I scanned the QR code to sign up, and it was just as easy as buying the pair of socks! I realized I couldn't rely on my home insurance for my bike, so before leaving The Bike Line on my bike, I insured it with BikeInsure. Plus, my two expensive Ortlieb panniers are also covered at no extra cost!
Salsa Warroad
Here is a picture of the bike on my favorite trail in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Like with the policy itself, you've made this process seamlessly easy!
BikeInsure has been incredibly helpful in defining the wording of my coverage and how it pertains to my custom-built Salsa Warroad. My BikeInsure policy clearly shows on the 'Equipment Schedule' page that my bike, which includes 18 non-stock accessories and components, has my desired comprehensive insurance coverage. BikeInsure allows me to insure the unique DNA of my Salsa bicycle for just $16.99 per month. I am grateful for this policy's clarity, coverage, and peace of mind.
Specialized SL7
I witnessed my friend's bike accident, which caused extensive damage.
He told me that he had BikeInsure, which saved him thousands of dollars as his only responsibility was the $100 deductible.
As a former licensed insurance agent in California who sold Farmers homeowners and auto insurance, I was surprised to learn about bike insurance. However, the bike crash made me realize the importance of having a separate and primary bike insurance policy for my Specialized SL7. With BikeInsure, I have insured my bike and protected my homeowner's insurance because any claim with BikeInsure won't affect my home policy! In CA, that is a must!
Pinarello Dogma
ALL I WANTED WAS INSURANCE FOR MY BIKE.
Velosurance & Markel asked numerous time-consuming sign-up questions & gave me an outrageous quote, while Sundays were even more expensive!
Finally, there is BikeInsure, which offers my Pinarello coverage for crashes, transit accidents, & theft, all for $24.99 monthly.
I was skeptical because signing up was too easy, but I researched & learned that BikeInsure is the official bike insurance for USA Cycling.
I also saw positive BikeInsure reviews in a Facebook cycling group where someone shared a screenshot of "BikeInsure $24.99" on their credit card statement.
These positive reviews made me feel part of a trusted community, so I signed up! Moments later, I got a BikeInsure welcome call that was informative & reassuring.
Enve Melee
When the promotion card for BikeInsure fell out of my IMBA membership packet, I almost threw it away. I already had bike insurance and assumed it would be more or less the same. However, something made me scan the QR code, and I'm happy I did.
BikeInsure offered a FAR more competitive rate for the same coverage and deductible I had before. Signing up and registering my bikes right from my phone was also effortless.
I was also surprised and impressed by the communication and personal touch I received after signing up. Knowing your bikes are covered in case of any mishap brings tremendous peace of mind. If you're a casual enthusiast or competitive racer, I highly recommend looking at BikeInsure.
Specialized Turbo Levo
I recently purchased my first bike, which was NOT $500. I bought a $5,000 Specialized Turbo Levo Carbon S3. Once I received the bike, I realized I needed insurance. After researching, I discovered two insurance providers for my eBike - BikeInsure and Velosure. Velosurance wasn't available in my state, but BikeInsure was, so I signed up with them.
Initially, I was confused about what bike insurance covered. But when BikeInsure called to welcome me, they explained the difference between bike insurance for an 'occurrence,' such as a crash or theft, vs. the warranty for a defective component. Now I'm clear on what BikeInsure covers - they've got my Specialized eBike insured for any 'occurrence' involving cycling damage or theft. If my electric bike's battery stops working, that's something covered under the Specialized warranty.
Larry vs Harry Bullitt
My family owns a Larry vs Harry eCargo bike, which we use for commuting daily. Our round trip is about ten miles, and we do it five days a week. We knew we needed a suitable insurance solution for this unique eBike. After doing a Google search, we discovered BikeInsure, one of the three ebike insurance providers that made our list for comparison. After reading through the complete list of FAQs on BikeInsure's website and carefully reviewing the policy, I decided to sign up.
We have been bike commuters for many years, and with BikeInsure, we can now have peace of mind, knowing that our expensive ebike is insured.
Specialized Levo Expert
To be transparent, I am a licensed insurance producer and agency owner in Florida. We specialize in Auto and Homeowners insurance.
I purchased bike insurance to protect my bike when traveling to and from the trails.
More than 20% of Florida drivers do NOT have insurance, and many others only carry the Florida minimum of just $10K.
I wanted coverage for my bike in case it was hit by an uninsured/underinsured motorist. Thanks for a great BikeInsure policy.
Surrey Classic
I spent months searching for insurance for three four-wheeled Surrey bicycles. My homeowners' insurance company declined to cover them, so I contacted several bike insurance companies. Each company rejected coverage because my bikes had more than two wheels until I found BikeInsure.
The great thing about BikeInsure is that their bicycle definition, as they explained, is broad enough to cover bicycles and e-bikes with two, three, and even four wheels!
The BikeInsure customer service was excellent, and I was able to enroll over the phone to ensure my policy was configured correctly. I highly recommend BikeInsure bicycle insurance.
Riese and Mueller
I had purchased an expensive ebike and really felt like I needed insurance.
I went online to a plethora of insurers and found that BikeInsure was the most streamlined process and at an incredibly reasonable price.
I chose to add on the theft insurance.
The easy process and even a friendly call from the owner sealed the deal. Now, I have no worries about transporting and riding my beloved bike. If you're on the fence about where to buy insurance, take a close look at BikeInsure. I think it's the best program I could've chosen for ebike insurance!
Scott Addict
Last year, I had an accident while riding my bike alone. I overshot a corner, and my bicycle hit a tree, causing damage to the handlebars, wheels, and frame. I contacted State Farm, but they told me my home insurance would not cover the bicycle damage.
I moved on from the damaged bike and bought a Scott Addict. I was glad to discover BikeInsure on the USA Cycling Member Benefits page. It gives me a sense of security, knowing that if I experience another bike crash, the expenses won't be a huge burden like the last time!
Cervelo P-Series
You get bike insurance when you drop $7,500 on a bike and are paranoid about the cost of crashing or theft.
I live in California and asked my homeowners insurance to cover my Cervelo P-Series, but they don't cover anything.
I did some research via Google and found that Velosurance, Sundays, and BikeInsure are options for bike insurance.
A friend suggested I check out our USA Triathlon benefits, and that's where I found BikeInsure in the member portal. Signing up for BikeInsure through USAT's partner page was very easy, and it's considerably less expensive than the other options. Even though I've never experienced an accident or had my bike stolen, knowing that my Cervelo TT bike is covered by BikeInsure gives me peace of mind.
Scott Foil
I live in Chicago, and our entire cycling team has learned about BikeInsure. We all like your bike insurance!
I really love my Scott Foil and am not willing to risk it any further. Therefore, I gladly gave in to the peer pressure from my cycling teammates and signed up for BikeInsure via USA Cycling.
BikeInsure is affordable, and the sign-up process was super easy and fast. The funny thing is that it felt like I was enrolled in three seconds.
I'm a BikeInsure fan and will definitely share it with others.
Cervelo P5
My wife helped me with bike insurance research for my Cervelo P5 on a Saturday morning. We signed up with BikeInsure, and soon after, they called me at 8:00 AM to welcome me. The call was incredibly helpful as BikeInsure will tailor my policy to match my bike exactly.
Living in Florida, we understand the importance of getting insurance solely for my triathlon bike.
I'm so happy to have insurance for my Cervelo with BikeInsure. In case of any accidents or theft, it will not impact our homeowners' insurance!
BikeInsure is 'peace of mind' every cyclist should sign up for!
Canyon Bike Bag
I travel with my Canyon Speedmax and am grateful to have the BikeInsure transit coverage as a feature of my insurance.
BikeInsure does not mail stickers to customers, so I made my DIY (Do It Yourself) "BikeInsure - USA Triathlon - Official Bike Insurance" sticker. I placed it on my Canyon Bike Transport Bag (nope, case not insured) and several "FRAGILE, Please Handle With Care" stickers, hoping it would alert TSA to handle my packed bike with care.
I'm willing to do anything to keep my bike safe. I hope I only need the bike insurance for peace of mind!
Canyon Speedmax
While looking through the various USA Triathlon member benefits, I found BikeInsure, USAT's official bike insurance.
I had been in the market for insurance for my Canyon Speedmax, and when I saw what BikeInsure had to offer, I immediately signed up. It's great to have taken care of one more item on my to-do list. As I travel to various triathlon events by car and sometimes by plane within the US, I am thrilled to have found BikeInsure, which provides ideal coverage for my bike.
Triathletes spend a lot of money on their bike, so having bike insurance for my Canyon triathlon bike is a huge relief.
Quintana Roo SRFIVE
I looked up bike insurance on Google and found out that BikeInsure is the official bike insurance provider for USA Cycling. This gave me confidence that BikeInsure was the right company to look into further to see if they could provide the best insurance for my Quintana Roo bikes.
I decided to sign up, and the process was very easy. After signing up, I even took care of a few things for my policy during my welcome call with BikeInsure. I will definitely be recommending BikeInsure to my cycling friends.
Specialized Turbo Levo
I called BikeInsure because I have a Specialized eMountain Bike and was comparing bike insurance companies. I received quotes from Sundays and Velosurance but found them to be really expensive.
As an IMBA member, I decided to check out BikeInsure, which is the official mountain bike insurance for IMBA members. I was pleasantly surprised that BikeInsure offered reasonably priced bike insurance coverage for my Turbo Levo Expert. After comparing bike insurance companies, I found that BikeInsure had the best eBike insurance for cycling accidents and theft.
Quintana Roo XPR
Before I bought my current bike, I had a carbon fiber Orbea that was involved in a crash, resulting in a cracked frame with no insurance. It was a costly bike accident!
Thankfully, I noticed a bike insurance product in the USA Triathlon Newsletter. It's called BikeInsure, USAT Official Bike Insurance. It's exactly what I need for my new Quintana Roo XPR!
Crashes are never fun, and costly crashes can be financially devastating. But, with BikeInsure, my financial risk is gone because my triathlon bike is only a $100 deductible away from being back on the road in case of any future unfortunate accidents.
I will recommend that all of my triathlon friends get BikeInsure!
Trek Madone SLR9
I was referred to BikeInsure by my trusted bike fitter, Richardson Bike Fit.
They spoke highly of the BikeInsure CEO, who has been a client for over ten years! I used to be a Velosurance customer, but after the referral from Richardson Bike Fit, I switched to BikeInsure. They now provide full insurance coverage for my TREK Madone and BMC TeamMachine.
The welcome call from BikeInsure is a testament to the quality of the bike insurance they represent. Bike owners must let other cyclists know that having a separate bike insurance policy is crucial, as many bicycle owners are unaware of this. That's why I will be recommending BikeInsure to all my cycling friends.
Pinarello Dogma
I had insured a previous road bike for years by scheduling an insurance rider on my Florida Homeowner's Policy. The extra cost was about 10% of the bike's value, adding over $1,000 annually to my homeowner's premium. I once had a cycling accident, and the insurance rider covered my scheduled bike. I received the payout for my home insurance claim along with a "Notice of Possible Increased Premiums."
The sad state of bike insurance significantly improved in 2023 when USA Cycling announced the BikeInsure partnership.
I signed up for BikeInsure, USA Cycling's official bike insurance, because it insures my bike with a separate policy from my homeowner's insurance.
The bike insurance offers complete coverage for my bike and its expensive accessories with low monthly payments. BikeInsure also covers my bike when I race, and if I ever need to file a claim with BikeInsure, I have peace of mind knowing that it will not impact my Florida homeowner's insurance.
Zinn Big Six
I've been riding my Zinn Mountain Bike for over a year now. It's specifically designed for tall people, like me, at 6'11, and I cherish it very much.
Thankfully, I'm a member of IMBA because I was browsing through their membership perks and noticed BikeInsure listed as the "Official Mountain Bike Insurance."
This was the first time I heard about bike insurance, and boy, I was glad I stumbled upon it.
It is important for me to protect this cherished steed, and thanks to IMBA, I now have my two bikes covered by BikeInsure.
Pinarello Dogma
As a USA Cycling member, I came across BikeInsure through an interesting USA Cycling Instagram post. I was excited to find out about the BikeInsure reasonably-priced bike insurance for my Pinarello Dogma, which is insurance for accidents and theft.
Additionally, I plan to purchase a new carbon wheelset soon, and BikeInsure's CEO suggested during my welcome call that it can be added to my policy at no extra cost.
Enve Melee
When I shared my worries about bike theft with my cycling teammate in Washington, DC, he recommended that I sign up for BikeInsure, an insurance he uses for his bike.
While I had used a different bike insurance provider in the past that I wasn't satisfied with, I was grateful for the suggestion and decided to give BikeInsure a chance. Not only does BikeInsure offer excellent coverage, but the pricing is also quite reasonable.
Pinarello Paris
I was so grateful to receive the USA Triathlon email about "NCAA teams punch their tickets to Nationals" because I own a Pinarello Paris, which is the most expensive bike I've ever had, and I've been searching for insurance.
I initially contacted GEICO, which partners with Markel, and was offered coverage for about $700 per year, but they were too expensive.
My girlfriend encouraged me to continue searching, and today, the USAT email introduced me to my bike insurance solution. There was a section titled, "BIKEINSURE IT, THEN RIDE IT!" Signing up for the bike insurance partner of USA Triathlon just before I compete in the Lake Las Vegas T100 Triathlon this weekend has given me the peace of mind I've been looking for!
ARI Veyo
I previously had Velosurance for my 2019 Specialized bike. I have to say that it was terrific having bike insurance, and thankfully, I never had to make a claim with them.
When I purchased a new ARI VEYO 2024 bike, I noticed that BikeInsure is the official bike insurance of USA Cycling.
I trust USAC, so I compared policies. BikeInsure clearly has a better bike insurance policy than Velosurance, and it is also less expensive, which is why I signed up for my ARI with BikeInsure!
Rocky Mountain Element
My wife found out that BikeInsure is the official IMBA mountain bike insurance company, so I decided to insure my custom-built Rocky Mountain Element. What impressed me most about BikeInsure was their attention to detail, as they insured every single component of my unique mountain bike.
Thanks to IMBA for informing us about BikeInsure! Now, my Rocky Mountain Bike is fully insured, and we have peace of mind!
Addmotor CityTri
I found BikeInsure on the web just as I found everything else.
We had an insurance issue regarding a bicycle a few years ago, so with our new electric trike, we knew getting BikeInsure bike insurance was a must.
Now, with BikeInsure coverage for my Addmotor e-bike, I have peace of mind.
